A New Era in West Germany

Gerard Braunthal was a visiting professor at the University of Bonn in 1979–1980. He is the author of The West German Social Democrats, 1969–1982: Profile o f a Party in Power (Boulder, Col.: Westview Press, 1983), among other books, and has contributed articles to Western European Politics, Comparative Politics, and other journals.
