David P. Conradt was a visiting Fulbright Professor at die University of Konstanz during 1978-1979. He is the author of The German Polity, 2d ed. (New York: Longman, 1982), among other books, and has contributed articles to Comparative Politics, Comparative Political Studies, and Western European Politics.
