Mongolia: Pawn of Geopolitics

Robert A. Rupen served as director of East Asian and Western Pacific Affairs at the National War College for three years. He has been publishing books and articles about Mongolia for twenty years. In addition to trips to Mongolia, he has traveled extensively in East Europe, Soviet Central Asia, Siberia, Southeast Asia, Japan and Korea.
