Political and Economic Development in Sri Lanka

Tissa Fernando taught for many years at the University of Ceylon. He has written extensively on Sri Lankan society and politics, and is coeditor of Modem Sri Lanka: A Society in Transition (Syracuse: Syracuse University Press, 1979). He is completing a book on contemporary Sri Lanka to be published by Westview Press.
