M. Rashiduzzaman was a visiting senior fellow at the Southern Asian Institute of Columbia University from 1970 to 1973. He is the author of Politics and Administration in the Local Councils (Oxford: Oxford University Press, 1968) and numerous articles on Pakistan and Bangladesh in scholarly journals.
