Illusion and Reality in Argentina

Gary W. Wynia is the author of Argentina in the Postwar Era: Politics and Economic Policy-Making in a Divided Society (Albuquerque: University of New Mexico Press, 1978) and The Politics of Latin American Development (New York: Cambridge University Press, 1978). He was a Fulbright-Hays graduate fellow in Argentina in 1964-1965, and held a research grant there in 1971 and in 1973. During a visit to Argentina in September, 1980, he collected material for this article.
