Peter Regenstreif is coordinator of Canadian studies at the University of Rochester. Author of The Diefenbaker Interlude: Parties and Voting in Canada (Toronto: 1965), he is a political consultant for candidates, political parties, private corporations and financial institutions in both Canada and the United.States. He is also a syndicated political columnist in Canada, and has been a special editorial consultant and pollster for the Toronto Star since 1963.
