Soviet Imperialism in Afghanistan

Alvin Z. Rubinstein, one of Current History’s contributing editors, is author of a number of books on Soviet and Communist affairs, including Red Star on the .Nile: The Soviet-Egyptian Influence Relationship Since the June War (Princeton: Princeton University Press, 1977) and ϒugoslavia and the Nonaligned World (Princeton University Press, 1970).
