China’s New Legal System

Hungdah Chiu has written, edited or coauthored nine books on Chinese law, politics and international relations, including People’s China and International Law, 2 volumes (Princeton: Princeton University Press, 1974) and China and the Taiwan Issue (New York: Praeger, 1979). He is currently writing a book with Shao-chuan Leng of the University of Virginia on post-Mao China’s legal system.
