Richard Hrair Dekmejian is the author of Egypt Under Nasir (Albany: SUNY Press, 1971) and Patterns of Political Leadership: Egypt, Israel, Lebanon (Albany: SUNY Press, 1975) and articles on Middle Eastern affairs. His current research includes the political and strategic implications of Islamic revivalism.
