David Eugene Blank was recently nominated for a Fulbright professorship in Venezuela. A monograph he completed on the 1978 Venezuelan elections will be part of a study, Venezuela at the Polls, to be published in 1980 by the American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research. Among his published works on Venezuela is Politics in Venezuela (Boston: Little, Brown, and Company, 1973).
