Robert M. Levine

Professor of History, State University of New York at Stony Brook

Robert M. Levine is the author of five books on Brazil, including a monograph on Getúlio Vargas and a study of regionalism during the Old Republic. Past chairman of the Columbia Seminar on Brazil, he is currently workingon a social history of Brazil since 1889.
