France: A Political Culture in Readjustment

William Francis Ryan is the Director of the Institute of Humanities at Old Dominion University. His research area is nineteenth century French rightist thought; he has published articles on “La Croix” and the rise of rightist nationalism in France from 1870-1900 and is currently completing a book-length manuscript on that topic.
