Soviet Policies in East Europe

Richard F. Staar has edited the last 11 volumes of the Yearbook on International Communist Affairs (Stanford: Hoover Press, 1969-1979) and Aspects of Modern Communism (Columbia: University of South Carolina Press, 1968). He is author of Poland, 1944-1962 (Westport, Conn.: Greenwood Press, 1975), and of Communist Regimes in Eastern Europe (Stanford: Hoover Press, 1977), 3d rev. ed., translated into German by Seewald Ve lag at Stuttgart. During the spring quarter of 1979, he served as distinguished visiting professor at the Naval Postgraduate School.
