Lawrence T. Caldwell chairs the Political Science Department at Occidental College. He has been a Research Associate at the International Institute for Strategic St dies and a Visiting Professor at the National War College. His study of Soviet-American relations in the 1980’s for the Council on Foreign Relations will be published by McGraw-Hill this fall.
