Bruce D. Larkin chairs the Board of Studies in politics at the University of California at Santa Cruz. He studies Chinese foreign policy, strategy and commodity supply, maintaining a special interest in the western Pacific. In 1977-1978, he was Visiting Research Scholar at the University of Tokyo.
