Brazil’s Definition of Democracy

Robert M. Levine is past chairman of the Columbia University Seminar on Brazil. He has written two monographs on modern Brazilian history and several guides to research, one of which, an annotated bibliography of Brazil Since 1930, will be published in 1979 by Garland Press. He has chaired the National Committee on Brazilian Studies of the Conference on Latin American History.
