Japan and China: Peace at Last Available to Purchase

Haruhiro Fukui is the author of Party in Power: The Japanese Liberal-Democrats and Policy-Making (Berkeley and Los Angeles: University of California Press, 1970) and a coauthor of Managing an Alliance: The Politics of U.S.-Japanese Relations (Washington, D.C.: Brookings Institution, 1976). He has recently completed a monograph on decision-making in the Japanese government during the current Tokyo Round on multilateral trade negotiations. His main research interest is the patterns of policymaking and implementation in contemporary Japan.
