Yugoslavia and Tito: The Long Farewell

Thomas F. Magner has published extensively in the field of Slavic linguistics; with Ladislav Matejka he coauthored Ward Accent in Modern Serbo-Croatian (University Park, Pa.: The Pennsylvania State University Press, 1971). He edited Slavic Linguistics and Language Teaching (Columbus, Ohio: Slavica Publishers, Inc., 1976), and recently wrote the article, “The Melting Pot and Language Maintenance in South Slavic Immigrant Groups,” General Linguistics, vol. 16, nos. 2/3 (Summer/Fall, 1976).
