Bernard Reich is chairman of the Department of Political Science at The George Washington University, Washington, D.C. He is the author of numerous articles on Middle East politics and United States Middle East policy. His latest book is Quest for Peace: United States-Israel Relations and the Arab-Israeli Conflict (New Brunswick, N.J.: Transaction Books, 1977).
