From Feudalism to Communism in Laos

Richard Butwell is the dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the State University of New York at Fredonia. Among other works, he is the author of U Nu of Burma (Stanford: Stanford University Press, 1969) and Southeast Asia Today and Tomorrow (New York: Praeger, 1969). His most recent visit to Southeast Asia was made in the summer of 1972.
