Gerard Braunthal is a specialist in German politics and comparative government. He was a visiting professor at Freiburg University in 1970–1971, and is the author of The Federation of German Industry in Politics (Ithaca: Cornell University, 1965), and The West German Legislative Process: A Case Study of Two Transportation Bills (Ithaca: Cornell University Press, 1972).
