Lawrence D. Longley is the author or coauthor of over a dozen articles and books on American politics and political institutions, including The Politics of Broadcast Regulation, with Erwin G. Krasnow (New York: St. Martin’s Press, 1973). In the area of electoral college reform, he is the coauthor of The Politics of Electoral College Reform, with Alan G.
