Mexico’s Growing Pains

Martin Needler is director of the Division of Inter- American Affairs and professor of political science at the University of New Mexico. He is the author of various books on Latin American politics, including Latin American Politics in Perspective, 2d. ed. (New York: Van Nostrand Reinhold, 1968), Political Development in Latin America (New York: Random House, 1968), and Politics and Society in Mexico (Albuquerque: University of New Mexico Press, 1971).
