American Welfare Policy and the Supreme Court

Samuel Krislov is the editor of the Law and Society Review and a member of the Council of American Political Science. Among his books are The Negro in the Federal Bureaucracy (Minneapolis: University of Minnesota Press, 1967), Compliance and the Law: A Multi-Disciplinary Approach (Beverly Hills, Calif.: Sage, 1972), and The Supreme Court and Political Freedom (New York: Free Press, 1968). He is currently a Ford Faculty Fellow; this study in part derives from that project.
