Norman A. Graebner holds the Edward R. Stettinius Professorship in Modem American History and is a member of the University of Virginia’s Center for Advanced Study. He has taught at Iowa State University, Stanford University and the University of Illinois. He is coauthor of History of the American People (New York: McGraw-Hill, 1970).
