Soviet Tutelage in East Europe

Charles Gati is spending the 1971–1972 acar demic year as a Senior Fellow at Columbia it University’s Research Institute on Communist if Affairs, where his research on East European foreign policies is cosponsored by the Institute and the American Council of Learned Societies and the Social Science Research Council. His articles on Soviet foreign policy have appeared in Slavic Review and Canadian Slavic Studies, as well as in The Behavioral Revolution and Communist Studies (New York: The Free Press, 1971) and The Conduct of Soviet Foreign Policy (Chicago: Aldine-Atherton, 1971).
