Yuan-li Wu is a consultant at the Hoover Institution and has written widely on the economy of Communist China. His most recent works are The Economy of Communist China: An Introduction (New York: Praeger,1965) and The Spatial Economy of Communist China (Stanford, Calif.: Hoover Institution, 1967).
