Harold C. Hinton was formerly a consultant to the RAND Corporation. He has also served as a training officer in the Foreign Service Institute, United States Department of State. He is the author of Communist China in World Politics (Boston: Houghton-Mifflin Company, 1966) and of numerous articles on Communist China.
