Gerald L. Curtis, a member of the East Asian Institute, Columbia University, also serves as associate director of the Columbia University-sponsored United States-Japan Parliamentary Exchange Program.He has been in Japan numerous times over the past six years and has published several articles in both Japanese and English. He is editor of Japanese American Relations in the Seventies, published by Columbia Books, which has also been published in Japanese. His book, Election Campaigning Japanese Style, is being published by Columbia University Press in the spring of 1971. The Japanese version was published recently and is now in its second printing.
