Mexico at the Crossroads

Martin Needler is director of the Division of Inter-American Affairs as well as professor of political science at the University of New Mexico. He is the author of Latin American Politics in Perspective (New York: Van Nostrand, 1968) and editor and coauthor of the leading text Political Systems of Latin America (New York: Van Nostrand), the second edition of which was published in 1970. He has visited Mexico frequently and his latest book, scheduled for April, 1971, publication by the University of New Mexico Press, is Politics and Society in Mexico.
