Burma: the Obscure Domino

Richard Butwell, Director (on leave) of the Center for South and Southeast Asian Studies, The American University, is the author of U Nu of Burma, 2nd rev. ed. (Stanford: Stanford University Press, 1969), and Southeast Asia Today and Tomorrow (New York: Praeger, 1969), among other books. He is a frequent visitor to Southeast Asia, and visited Burma in June, 1970.
