A Census of Arable Lands

Ray Lanier is the economist in charge of the South West Resource Group, Natural Resource Economics Division, Economics Research Service of the United States Department of Agriculture, Berkeley, California. He has had a number of years of experience in various sections of the United States making economic analyses of alternate proposals for the development of water and related land resources.
