David J. Murray has spent the past five years teaching in Nigerian universities and conducting research on Nigerian administration. His most recent book is The Work of Administration in Nigeria (London: Hutchinson, 1969). He recently left his position as Research Director at the Institute of Administration of the University of Ife to return to teaching in England.
