The Negro in America: 1901 to 1956

Edgar A. Toppin has taught history at Alabama State College, Fayetteville State College, the University of Akron, Western Reserve University and the University of Cincinnati. He has written many articles on Negro history in scholarly journals. Dr. Toppin is also the author, director and lecturer of the “Americans from Africa” series of educational television programs to be shown this fall.
