Stephen D. Kertesz, a contributing editor of Current History, was Hungarian Minister to Italy in 1947, and was a visiting professor at the Yale Law School from 1948 to 1950. His most recent books are Nuclear Non-Prolifération {Notre Dame, Indiana: University of Notre Dame Press, 1967) and Quest for Peace through Diplomacy (Englewood Cliffs, N.J.: Prentice-Hall, 1967).
