The Position of the Conscientious Objector

J. Harold Sherk is an ordained minister of the United Missionary Church. He served as pastor in Ontario for 17 years. Mr. Sherk was religious director of Alternative Service work camps in Canada during World War II, and directed Mennonite relief work in India for two years. He has been Executive Secretary of the National Service Board for Religious Objectors since 1958.
