William B. Clatanoff, Jr., is currently Faculty Research Assistant for the Military Training Study at the University of Maryland. After graduating from Duke University he served first as a Graduate Resident, then as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Maryland. Manpower Economics is Mr. Clatanoff’s particular field of interest, and he is currently engaged in research on the transferability of training and skills between the military and civilian sectors of the U.S. economy.
