Soviet Aid and Trade

Milton Kovner is well known to Current History readers. He has served with the U.S. government since 1952 as a specialist on Soviet economic affairs and currently is with the Department of State. In 1962, he was a research associate with the Russian Research Center at Harvard University. Mr. Kovner is the author of The Challenge of Coexistence: A Study of Soviet Economic Diplomacy (Washington, D.C.: Public Affairs Press, 1961).
