Harold M. Vinacke is a Fellow of the Graduate School at the University of Cincinnati. He has long held an interest in Asian affairs, and at one time was a professor of history and political science at Nan Kai University, Tientsin, China. Mr. Vinacke has written A History of the Far East in Modern Times (6th ed.; New York: Appleton-Century-Crofts, 1959) and Far Eastern Politics in the Postwar Period (New York: Appleton-Century-Crofts, 1956).
