Diana Forbes-Robertson, daughter of the late Sir Johnston Forbes-Robertson and Gertrude Elliott, is the wife of Vincent Sheean, noted American journalist. Born in London, she has lived in this country for the past five years. She is the author of a series of articles on Spain and Czecho-Slovakia which appeared in The New York Herald Tribune.
The letters used in this article are from a collection of letters from men and women in England to their friends and relatives in America which are being collected and edited by Diana Forbes-Robertson and Roger W. Straus, Jr., Associate Editor of Current History and Forum. This collection will soon be published in book form by Current History and Forum with G. B. Putnam and Sons. All royalties from this book will be turned over to the British-American Ambulance Corps.
