David J. Murray has been a lecturer in political science and administration in African universities for the past six years—first at Makerere University College in Uganda, then at the University of Rhodesia and Nyasaland in Salisbury, Southern Rhodesia, and currently in Nigeria. Besides publications on African affairs he has also written a book on the West Indies, The West Indies and the Development of Colonial Government (Oxford: Oxford University Press, 1965).
