On leave from Rice University where he is a professor of economics, Dwight S. Brothers is serving as a research associate in Harvard’s Center for International Affairs, as well as teaching in the graduate business school. From 1954 to 1956, he was an economics instructor at Princeton University; during the 1961 academic year he was a visiting professor at the Brookings Institution. He is the author of The Financing of Capital Formation in Mexico, 1950–1961 (Austin: University of Texas, Institute of Latin American Studies, Monograph Series, 1965), and Mexican Financial Development, with coauthor Leopoldo Solís M. (Austin: University of Texas Press, 1966).
