In addition to his duties at Michigan State University, John M. Hunter has served as director of the Centro de Estudios sobre Desarrollo Economico in Bogotá, Colombia (1958–1960) and advisor to the Institute de Investigaciones Economicas in Cordoba, Argentina (1962). He has also served as consultant to American University and to the Ford Foundation. A frequent writer on Latin American affairs, Mr. Hunter’s most recent book is Emerging Colombia (Washington, D.C.; Public Affairs Press, 1962).
