Military Affairs of Communist China

Ralph L. Powell has served on the faculties of Princeton University and of the National War College. In 1957–1958, he served as Counselor of Embassy for Public Affairs on Taiwan. During the 1966–1967 academic year, he will supervise a strategic analysis of Communist China for the Research Analysis Corporation. Among Mr. Powell’s many publications are The Rise of Chinese Military Power, 1895–1912 (Princeton, N. J.: Princeton University Press, 1955) and Politico-Military Relationships in Communist China (Washington, D. C.: Department of State, 1963).
