Costa Rica: Mighty Midget

C. Harvey Gardiner has lived, studied and repeatedly traveled in the Caribbean over the last 25 years. Among his books, three concern the Spanish conquest of Mexico and seven treat the life and work of historian William Hickling Prescott. Mr. Gardiner is the general editor of the Latin American Travel series which will issue four volumes—on Cuba, Brazil, Chile and Mexico—this next year through the Southern Illinois University Press.
