David D. Burks is also Director of the university’s Non-Western Studies Project. Before taking his present post Mr. Burks taught at Michigan University (1960–1965) and, earlier, at Muskingum College (1949–1952) and Otterbein College (1952–1957). From 1957–1960, he was a research analyst for the U.S. State Department. He is author of numerous articles and co-author of Dynamics of Latin American Government and Politics (New York: Praeger, 1963).
