The Chilean Dilemma

W. Donald Beatty is the assistant chairman of history at the University of Minnesota. He has traveled widely throughout Latin America and, in 1964–1965, he received a Ford faculty exchange professorship to Latin America, under which most of his work was done in Chile. Among his writings is The Recent Social and Economic History of Chile.
