Theodore McNelly has taught at Washington University, in St. Louis, and in the overseas programs of the University of Maryland in Europe and the Far East. In 1946-1948, he was Research Analyst in the Civil Intelligence Division of General Douglas Mac- Arthur’s Headquarters in Tokyo. He is the author of Contemporary Government of Japan (Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 1963).
