U.S.S.R. Policy in Asia

Charles B. McLane visited Southeast Asia in 1961 and 1962 in connection with research on Soviet policy in that area. In 1961, he taught at the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva and traveled in the Soviet Union; he has recently been abroad again. He is the author of Soviet Policy and the Chinese Communists, 1931-1946 (New York: Columbia University Press, 1958), among other works.
